About the Book

Das Meer verspricht hinter dem Horizont das verlockende Unbekannte. Schiffe verbinden Länder. So entschied ich mich, genoss mein Freisein auf Schiffen verschiedener Linien und fuhr zehn Jahre zur See. Auf der Suche nach einer besseren, gerechteren Welt dominiert leider die Enttäuschung. Die Welt ist nicht so frei, wie sich ein junger Mensch das vorstellt. Diktatoren sowie korrupte Politiker sorgen stets für Spannung in der Welt. Die goldenen Wirtschaftsjahre brachten einen rasanten Fortschritt. Die Naturwissenschaft lehrte die Roboter das Laufen, die Medizintechnik kann Herzen austauschen. Den Fortschritt der Geisteswissenschaft, wie der neue bunte, tolerante, hilfsbereite, freundliche Mensch geformt wird, kann ich mit meiner Vorstellungskraft nicht nachvollziehen. Die politische Korrektheit der Geisteswissenschaftler wird rasant und für viele Menschen unverständlich verformt, so dass unsere Freiheit an Charakter verliert. Ich denke, unsere immer mehr eingegrenzte Gewissensfreiheit durch die unverständlichen, politischen Korrektheiten, steht sich bald selbst im Weg und spaltet die Menschheit immer mehr.
About the Author: Der Autor, Josef G. Dobler, seit achtundvierzig Jahren mit seiner Frau Wilma Dobler verheiratet, wurde in den letzten Kriegswehen im Februar 1945 in Oberhaching bei München geboren. Ab 1946 wurde Ingolstadt seine Heimat, die ihn bis heute gesellschaftlich, familiär, politisch und bayrisch prägt. Nach seiner beruflichen Ausbildung zog es ihn in die abenteuerliche fremde Welt, die er als Seemann zehn Jahre auf verschiedenen Schiffen erleben durfte. Die letzten fünfundzwanzig Jahre war er freiberuflich, für klein- und mittelständige metallbearbeitende Unternehmen, als Berater im Qualitätsmanagement tätig. Mit seinen abenteuerlichen Memoiren möchte der Autor seine Leser zum Nachdenken über seine eigene gesellschaftliche und politische Freiheit anregen. Im positiven sowie im negativen Sinne.
