Forum Hochschulmarketing der Freien Universitat Berlin am 27. und 28. Juni 2007 hochkaratige Fachvertreter aus Wirtschaft, Politik, Univer- taten und Stiftungen zu Wort kommen lassen. Der mundliche Vortragsstil ist fur die Drucklegung erhalten geblieben, auch geben die Texte den damals aktuellen Stand der Entwicklung und Diskussion wieder. Inzwischen konnen sechs weitere deutsche Universitaten den Exzellenzs- tus fur sich in Anspruch nehmen, darunter die gastgebende Freie Universitat Berlin. Das ist ebenso erfreulich wie der ungebrochen intensive Dialog z- schen Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft im gemeinsamen Bemuhen, die Herausforderungen der Zukunft am Standort Deutschland gemeinsam zu me- tern. Praktische Anregungen und nachahmenswerte Beispiele bietet der vorl- gende Band dazu in Hulle und Fulle."
