Der Sammelband greift wichtige Kommunikationsformen von Unternehmen und Organisationen auf und verdeutlicht die medial bedingten Wandelprozesse und Gebrauchsformen. Im ersten Teil werden solche Textsorten berücksichtigt, die sich herkömmlicher, offline-basierter Mündlichkeits- und Schriftlichkeitsformen bedienen, so zum Beispiel Geschäftsberichte oder Teamsitzungen. Im zweiten Teil des Bandes werden Textsorten in ihrer netzvermittelten Form dargestellt, sodass aus der Gesamtschau des Bandes ersichtlich wird, welche Prozesse durch den technologischen Wandel im Bereich der Unternehmenskommunikation ausgelöst werden. Behandelt werden Online-Textformen wie Online-Werbung, Gästebücher oder Unternehmenssites. Dabei werden nicht nur Wirtschaftsunternehmen, sondern auch Organisationen wie Universitäten, Städte und Kirchen in die Untersuchungen einbezogen.
About the Author: Die Herausgeberin: Caja Thimm, geboren 1958 in Frankfurt/Main. Studium der Germanistik, Amerikanistik und Politologie in München, Heidelberg und Berkeley/USA. 1989 Promotion in Germanistischer Linguistik an der Universität Heidelberg. Von 1991-1997 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im SFB 245 Sprache und Situation, 1998/1999 Stipendiatin des Landes Baden-Württemberg, 1999 Habilitation an der Universität Heidelberg. Lehrtätigkeiten an den Universitäten Saarbrücken, Essen, Darmstadt. Seit 2001 Universitätsprofessorin für Medienwissenschaft an der Universität Bonn. Forschungsschwerpunkte: Sprache und Kommunikation in den Medien, Geschlechterforschung, Sozialität im Internet, Unternehmenskommunikation, elektronische Demokratie.
