Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Sprachwissenschaft / Sprachforschung (fachübergreifend), Note: 1,0, Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Sprachlehrforschung), Veranstaltung: Das Lernen und Lehren fremder Sprachen: Konzepte, Methoden, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit ist das Resultat der gemeinsamen Arbeit einer Seminargruppe an einem Projekt "Überlegungen zur These 2 ("Das schulische Fremd-sprachenlernen ist auf der Basis eines integrativen Mehrsprachigkeitskon-zepts weiterzuentwickeln.")" aus den "Überlegungen zu einem integrativen Mahrsprachigkeitskonzept: 14 Thesen zum schulischen Fremdsprachenlernen" (erschienen in: Neuphilologische Mitteilungen, Heft 4, 2003). Der erste Teil der Arbeit enthält theoretische Begründung und Infragestellung der These. Der zweite Teil beihaltet 4 Unterrichtsreihen für 4 Fremdsprachen: Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch und Spanisch, die versuchen integrativ die Themen zu präsentieren und sprachliche Wissensbestände und vor allem das Prinzip der Lernökonomie zu nutzen. Bei der Erstellung der Unterrichtsreihen wurde besonders darauf geachtet, dass "Lehren und Lernen einer einzelnen Fremdsprache jeweils unter Berücksichtigung der zuvor gelernten bzw. der potenziell zu lernenden Sprachen systematisch im Blick bleibt." Das Fremdsprachenlernen gilt heute als wesentlicher Bestandteil der europäischen Bildungspolitik. Im Weißbuch der Europäischen Kommission "Lehren und Lernen: auf den Weg zur kognitiven Gesellschaft" (1996) wurden explizit die Leitlinien für das lebenslange Sprachenlernen und die Forderung nach der Sprachenvielfalt formuliert, wobei als vorrangig im Rahmen der Bildungspolitik das grundsätzliche Ziel der Mehrsprachigkeit angesehen wird, nach dem jeder europäische Bürger drei Gemeinschaftssprachen (d. h. zwei Fremdsprachen) erlernen soll. Ein theoretischer Versuch für die praktische Anwendung.
