About the Author: The author, Leon Ives, is a concerned husband, father, and grandfather. His background includes over 40 years of experience in the US Army and the US Department of Homeland Security, which included the legacy US Customs Service and Office of Investigations. Mr. Ives has served in numerous law enforcment task forces consisting of local, state, and federal agencies. His career fields over these four decades have included law enforcement, counterintelligence, criminal investigations, and national security; and, he has worked in the private security sector for the past eight years as a professional consultant, licensed private investigator, security specialist, and trainer. Over the course of his careers, Mr. Ives has lived and traveled to numerous cities throughout the US; as well as over 20 foreign countries. He has served in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iraq, and Afghanistan as both a soldier and a civilian contractor where he have seen human predators at their worse.
