Ich 32 Jahre alt, und seit einer Woche weiß ich, dass ich die Marketing-Abteilung der Hamburger Niederlassung einer großen international arbeitenden Spedition übernehmen darf. Obwohl ich mich ausreichend qualifiziert fühle, die Aufgabe zu übernehmen, so bin ich mir doch der möglichen Probleme bewusst, die es mit sich bringen kann, der Chef einer Abteilung zu sein. Nachdem mir mitgeteilt wurde, dass sich das Unternehmen für mich entschieden hatte, hat mir mein direkter Vorgesetzter meine zukünftigen Mitarbeiter vorgestellt- es handelt sich um eine kleine Gruppe von acht Leuten. Vermutlich am Wichtigsten werden die beiden Männer im Team sein- ich vermute, dass beide nicht sonderlich begeistert davon sind, mich vor die Nase gesetzt bekommen zu haben, beide sind etwas älter als ich, und ich nehme an, dass sie sich ebenfalls Chancen ausgerechnet haben, die Position zu bekleiden. Das gleiche gilt für eine 25jährige, sehr ehrgeizige Kommunikationsdesignerin- weniger problematisch wird vermutlich der Umgang mit einer 40jährigen Kollegin sein, die zwar von uns allen am höchsten qualifiziert ist aber aufgrund ihrer Familiensituation (verheiratet, zwei kleine Kinder) wenig Anspruch auf Beförderung erhebt. Dann gehören in unser Team noch eine Schreibkraft (weiblich, 45 Jahre) und ein ambitionierter Dauerpraktikant (männlich, 26 Jahre). Ich habe mir vorgenommen, den Ansprüchen meiner Vorgesetzten zu entsprechen aber/und gleichzeitig im Umgang mit "meinen" Mitarbeitern alles - oder zumindest fast alles richtig zu machen. Ich habe bereits erfahren, dass bewegte Zeiten auf uns zukommen werden, da das Unternehmen neue Märkte erobern will und wir als Marketing-Abteilung dabei eine wichtige Rolle spielen werden.
