Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Literaturwissenschaft - Allgemeines, Note: 1,7, Universität Erfurt (Philosophische Fakultät), Veranstaltung: Aus der Welt fallen: Die Verschollenen der Literatur, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Thema und somit Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit soll es sein, zu untersuchen, wie Márquez die auf zwanzig jeweils sechsstündige Interviews mit dem Protagonisten basierende Geschichte literarisch konstruiert und inszeniert hat. Im Mittelpunkt der folgenden Ausführungen stehen die Etappen Velascos Erlebnisse: die des Verschwindens, die der (geographischen, temporalen, physischen und psychischen) Verschollenheit und die des Vergessens als Sonderstatus des Verschollen-Seins. Im Kontext Márquez` "Bericht eines Schiffbrüchigen" ist diese Trias als negativer Superlativ zu verstehen und soll den thematischen Rahmen dieser Arbeit bilden. Seit jeher gehören Geschichten über Schiffbrüchige, Gestrandete, Verschollene und Überlebende maritimer Irrfahrten zu den immer wieder gern aufgegriffenen Sujets der Literatur. Seien es literarische Meilensteine wie Homers "Odyssee", Daniel Defoes "The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" oder Jules Vernes "L'Île mysterieuse" - das Motiv des meist einsamen, der Isolation preisgegebenen Verschollenen ist in seiner Tradition in der Geschichte der Literatur fest verankert und bildet mittlerweile ein eigenes Genre, welches das Motiv des überlebenden Gestrandeten unter dem Begriff der Robinsonade zu subsumieren versucht. Dabei wird die literarische Grundlage meist durch die Imaginationen des Autors geprägt, oder aber auch von authentischen Berichten als Inspirationsquelle bereichert. Eine Sonderstellung nimmt dabei Gabriel García Márquez` "Bericht eines Schiffbrüchigen" ein. Er erzählt die Geschichte des Matrosen Luis Alejandro Velascos, der als einziger Überlebender der über Bord gegangenen acht Matrosen des mit Schmuggelware überladenen Schiffes Caldas auf einem Floß zehn Tage im karibische
