Schon 1997 war dem international bekannten Business- und IT-Strategen Keen klar, dass das Thema Vertrauen langfristig gesehen einen großen Einfluss auf das Internet haben wird. Nicht nur bei der Internetnutzung allgemein, besonders beim Online-Shopping spielt Vertrauen eine entscheidende Rolle für den Konsumenten. Denn trotz der Vorteile, die das Online-Shopping bietet, hemmen von Konsumenten wahrgenommene Risiken den Ausbau der Online-Shop-Umsätze. Sicherheitsbedenken und Unsicherheiten beeinflussen das Käuferverhalten der Konsumenten in Online-Shops negativ. In Anbetracht dieser Problematik ist Vertrauen für den weiteren Ausbau des Potenzials des Online-Bereichs von hoher Relevanz, denn Vertrauen kann wahrgenommene Risiken mindern und sogar neutralisieren. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die Bedeutung von Vertrauen im B2C-Online-Handel in Bezug auf das Käuferverhalten herauszuarbeiten. Beleuchtet wird die Relevanz von Vertrauen beim Online-Shopping und welche Auswirkungen Vertrauen in Bezug auf wahrgenommene Risiken hat. Des Weiteren werden Maßnahmen analysiert und aufgezeigt, durch die Vertrauen in Online-Shops auf- und ausgebaut werden kann, um so das Potenzial des B2C-Online-Handels weiter ausschöpfen zu können.
About the Author: Sabrina Lütkebohle wurde 1988 in Hagen in Westfalen geboren. Ihr Studium "Medienwirtschaft und Journalismus" an der Jade Hochschule in Wilhelmshaven schloss sie 2013 mit dem Titel Bachelor of Arts erfolgreich ab. Derzeit studiert die Autorin "Kommunikations-, Multimedia- und Marktmanagement" an der Fachhochschule Düsseldorf und wird diesen im Jahr 2015 mit dem Titel Master of Arts abschließen. Bereits vor und auch während des Studiums sammelte die Autorin umfassende praktische Erfahrungen im Online-Marketing. Dort aufkommende Themen inspirierten sie, sich der Thematik der vorliegenden Arbeit zu widmen.
