My interview, per se, was after one too many shots of liquor courage to guarantee a killer karaoke performance for the win to pay my rent because I was fired that afternoon.
And...yes, it took place in the backroom of the bar.

It wasn't until later that I saw the job advertisement.
I applied using my nickname, Sam, instead of Samaera.
The ad covertly implied that a female wouldn't be hired.
After racing to meet the nine-minute deadline, I fell into his office and received the shock of my life:
