A dança-duelo entre os dois personagens, arbitrada por um juiz vestido de uma toga de magistrado romano, tem traços profundos de dramaticidade e de meteorologia. O/A leitor/a ficará preso/a ao seu enredo, que se desenrola como um rio acometido de uma pororoca. Muitos/as leitores/as certamente terão mesmo que segurar a respiração, com medo de interferir na trama que a roda gigante traça em nossos destinos. Este romance tem tudo isto e muito mais, e, além disso, está repleto, ainda que de forma comedida, de palavras, umas com acentos, outras sem, e de bastante pontuação.
Efetivamente, há quase de tudo em neste romance, o que agradará até os/as leitores/as mais reticentes, incluindo aqueles/as que se incomodam com os sérios inconvenientes que o autor por vezes causa em seu redor. Com efeito, o fato de NPdC de não saber cozinhar e a sua recusa obstinada de aderir às redes sociais em nada prejudicam as lições de natureza sócio-política, filosófica e artística que todos os/as leitores/as atentos/as poderão extrair deste romance.
