He purchased his first camera in 1964 when he was 13. His thought was to photograph life extensively in order to freeze time. He was also an avid reader. As he grew into his teens, he discovered that he had two things that piqued his interest, reading about worldwide travel and music. He honed his photography skills while embarking on a career as a rock and roll performing artist. He captured the events as he toured the country with name acts. His love of photography became more aesthetic when he became a father in the '80s. He embraced a new system of image creating that captured a more intimate portrait very detail-oriented.
