Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Geschichte, Note: 1,5, Technische Universität Dresden, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Aufgabe des Geschichtsunterrichts ist es, eine Verbindung zwischen Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft zu schaffen. Um diesem Bildungsauftrag nachzukommen, bedarf es didaktisch-methodischer Hilfsmittel, wie auch verschiedener Medien, die zur Veranschaulichung und zum besseren Verständnis beitragen. Historische Ereignisse in ihren räumlich-zeitlichen Dimensionen betrachten zu können ist schwierig, bedingt durch die Abstraktheit des bereits Vergangenen. Darum sind Darstellungsmedien von großem Wert. Die vorliegende Arbeit beginnt zunächst mit den wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen zur Didaktik des Unterrichts im Allgemeinen in Kapitel 1. Darauf aufbauend wird in Kapitel 2 auf lernpsychologische Aspekte eingegangen. Aus denen soll ersichtlich werden, welche Lernformen für positive Lernprozesse von Bedeutung sind. Die lernpsychologischen Überlegungen sollen in ihrer Gesamtheit betrachtet werden, da sich je nach Lernziel unterschiedlich methodische Ansätze anbieten. Auf dieser Grundlage werden sich die weiteren Kapitel darauf konzentrieren, welche Medienformen sich für die Umsetzung einer gewählten Methodik eignen bzw. welcher Lernprozess mit welchem Medium gefördert werden kann. Das Kapitel 3 beschäftigt sich daher genauer mit den verschiedenen Medienformen und ihren Anwendungsmöglichkeiten. Abhängig von Unterrichtsfach, Lehr- und Lernziel unterscheiden sich diese. Auch wenn die Arbeit den Fokus auf das Fach Geschichte richtet, hat sie den Anspruch eine umfassende Übersicht zum Thema zu geben. Der theoretische Teil der Arbeit hat sich somit zum Ziel gemacht, Möglichkeiten und Nutzen der verschiedenen Medienformen im Kontext der didaktischen und lernpsychologischen Betrachtung herauszuarbeiten.
