About the Author: Autor Wolfgang Pein hat zahlreiche Projekte veröffentlicht. Insgesamt sind es inzwischen 25 Bücher geworden. Darunter sind viele Kinder-Bücher und Kriminal-Romane. Auch Reisebeschreibungen über selbst erlebte Reisen in Irland und Schottland finden ihre Fans. Wolfgang Pein ist einer der Autoren, die für das Kinderhospiz "Löwenherz" an einem Rekord-Buch gearbeitet haben. Die Fans der Geschichten sind in ganz Deutschland verteilt. Auch aus der Schweiz, Italien, Schottland, Irland und sogar in den USA kommen immer wieder Nachfragen, wann es wieder neues gibt. Und Antworten wegen übersandten Büchern sind inzwischen auch aus dem Kensington Palace (Wilhelm & Kate) mit Dank und sehr freundlichem Begleitschreiben im Münsterland eingetroffen. Und auch die Briefumschlage mit ihren roten Postmarkierungen aus dem Buckingham-Palace haben Verwunderung beim hiesigen Postboten hervor gerufen, denn auch der Queen wurde ein vom Autor selbst ins Englische übersetzte Buch versandt. Und ein Highlight ist sicherlich der Erfolg des Buches, das zur Zeit des Mauerfalls veröffentlicht wurde - die Liebes-Geschichte eines jungen Paares, das ein Zusammenkommen versucht und in der auch eine Stasi-Akte ein Rolle spielt. Dieses Buch hat dem Bundespräsidenten vorgelegen, dem es anscheinend so gut gefallen hat, dass er eine persönliche Einladung ins Schloss Bellevue schickte, um an einer Veranstaltung zum 30-jährigen Mauerfall teilzunehmen.
