Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: 1,3, SRH Hochschule Riedlingen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit wird zunächst wird für das Unternehmen MM eine Produkt-Markt-Matrix nach Ansoff erarbeitet, anhand derer eine konkrete Handlungsempfehlung abgeleitet werden soll. In einem weiteren Schritt ist begründet zu entscheiden, ob MM eine Strategie der Kostenführerschaft oder der Differenzierung anstreben sollte. Wachstumspotentiale sollen dabei unter dem Aspekt der Ressourcensituation als Minimumfaktor optimal ausgeschöpft, sowie ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis der Werttreiber Wachstum, Rendite und Risiko angestrebt werden. Das Wachstum von Unternehmen wird oftmals als Voraussetzung für den Erfolg im Wettbewerb und die langfristige Profitabilität angesehen. Dispositive Bestrebungen im Sinne der Gewinnmaximierung und einer günstigen Zukunftsperspektive über konjunkturelle Schwankungen hinweg zielen daher häufig darauf, das Unternehmen möglichst lange in der Wachstumsphase zu halten. Aus diesen Bestrebungen ergeben sich jedoch zahlreiche Herausforderungen. Schließlich erhöht Wachstum die Komplexität, beansprucht Investitionen, birgt das Risiko des Scheiterns und erfordert eine strategisch günstige Positionierung im Wettbewerb. Die Wettbewerbsstrategie formt das ganzheitliche Auftreten des Unternehmens und ist entscheidend zur Differenzierung gegenüber Wettbewerbern, wobei das Ziel in der nachhaltigen Behauptung der Unternehmensposition am Markt liegt.
