Durch den Wechsel zwischen autobiografischen Beispielen und Eindrucken aus der psychiatrischen Praxis tritt er in gekonnter Weise in den Dialog mit den Lesern. Die wertvolle Verknupfung zwischen den Automatismen im menschlichen Verhalten und den zugrunde liegenden personlichen Motiven ist faszinierend und aufschlussreich.
