The potential value from increased use of cement industry waste is enormous. This research level book focuses on a range of issues in the recycling and manufacture process and the reduction of the environmental impact of the cement industry.
The book introduces cement materials and their manufacture, then covers the main uses of waste in the cement industries, especially through recycling and the production of low-carbon cement, then explores more advanced material and applications. It systematically introduces the main uses, and the connections between cement and sound environmental engineering through a presentation of principles with case studies. Several representative pictures, summary tables, and practical examples give is value in teaching and training.
The book is intended mainly for a university and research audience, and for professionals who seek more advanced guidance on the use of green cement. It will also help governmental managers and others seeking to reduce urban waste.
