We Love Each Other is a healing journal for grieving children. It is for every child, everywhere whose parent (or grand parent) has died.
The journal begins by remembering the past and focusing on what everyday life, and everyday love, was like between the child and the parent. At this point, the child can add family photos, cards, mementos, etc.
As the journal unfolds, it gently acknowledges the parent's death. The child is invited to draw, or write about, any feelings or concerns they may be having about that death. They also begin to understand that, although their parent's body died, their parent's love survived.
The journal ends by helping the child understand how to carry their parent's love with them into their future. The child is free to experience everyday life, and everyday love, with their parent's love inside them.
What are readers saying about We Love Each Other?
This book is a compelling, heartfelt story. It looks like a book, but when read and used, it will become a lasting keepsake for any child who has experienced the loss of a loved one.
