About the Book

Destiny sometimes reveals itself in a most peculiar way

Robert grew up thinking he was a regular teenager, and then he made a pretty unusual self-discovery: He's a bona fide Norse god. After many years on Earth and a grueling battle with Loki's son, Robert is now returning to Asgard, land of the Norse gods. The end of the nine worlds is approaching. The gods call it Ragnarok. They truly believe in the ancient myths, and they're pissed off about the whole situation. They've all got issues, especially Thor, Freyr, and his two-faced sister.

Robert even meets Loki, who's locked up in the high-tech dungeon. But where's his son, Vali? The problem with a shape-shifter is that you never know where he's lurking. Not even the gods know. But Robert will have to deal with them and Vali-wherever he is-or they're all going to die. And he must also overcome another huge obstacle: his own accidental, hot, and horribly demanding creation.

Dive into The Well of Destiny-the second book in Erik Brodin's deeply entertaining series-and discover this bombshell for yourself.
About the Author: Erik Brodin is the author of the Endangered Norse Gods trilogy, which includes The Lost Sons of Asgard, The Well of Destiny, and Last God Standing. The series was born from a love for the mythology he grew up with and from asking a bunch of questions, such as: How come the Norse gods settled on a horrible doomsday scenario? They're gods, so why not change their destiny to something a little more pleasant? But if a god didn't believe in himself, how would that affect his creative powers? And would such a god today be considered an atheist? Or would he perhaps learn from the mechanisms of evolution and adaptation, even take advantage of modern human science, such as sports psychology, and build his confidence and god-powers? And how'd it be like to go on a road trip with Loki to the land of the giants? And who'd win in a fight between gods and giants and-uh, excuse me, I got a little carried away.:: cough:: But I think you get the picture. So if you enjoy Norse mythology, action, adventure, a bit of mystery, science, and comedy, you'll love Erik Brodin's books. Probably. Discover more at erikbrodin.com.
