"Das Wort Krise setzt sich im Chinesischen aus zwei Schriftzeichen zusammen. Das eine bedeutet Gefahr und das andere Gelegenheit." Krisen können in mannigfaltigen Formen auftreten, doch ein Charakteristikum haben sie alle gemeinsam: die ambivalente Entwicklungsmöglichkeit. Auch eine ökonomische Krise beinhaltet sowohl das Moment des wirtschaftlichen Niedergangs wie auch eine Chance zur Weiterentwicklung und Neuausrichtung. So gibt es bei einer Krise die Möglichkeit, Unternehmen neu zu strukturieren und die strategische Marschrichtung zu verändern. Um diese Chance auf Weiterentwicklung zu nützen, ist es notwendig, das Verhältnis zwischen Unternehmenswert und bestimmten Unternehmenswerten im Sinne einer "wertebalancierten" Unternehmensführung neu zu bestimmen, mithilfe dieser im Fall einer eingetretenen Krise so gut als möglich zu reagieren und langfristig Strukturen aufzubauen, um Krisen vorzubeugen. Dieses Buch liefert verschiedene Begriffsdefinitionen, zeigt die Zusammenhänge zwischen Krisenmanagement und werteorientierter Unternehmensführung anschaulich auf und gibt wertvolle Anhaltspunkte sowie konkrete Handlungsanweisungen zur Implementierung eines werteorientierten Managementkonzepts, das die Krisenfestigkeit eines Unternehmens entscheidend erhöhen kann. Dabei liegt ein besonderer Focus auf den von personellen Faktoren ausgelösten Krisen.
About the Author: Nina Wielander, Jahrgang 1988. Ihr Studium der Unternehmensführung in der Tourismus- und Freizeitwirtschaft am MCI Management Center Innsbruck schloss die Autorin im Jahr 2010 mit dem akademischen Grad des Bachelor of Arts in Business mit Auszeichnung ab. Bereits vor und während des Studiums sammelte Wielander, die selbst aus einem touristisch geprägten Umfeld stammt, umfassende praktische Erfahrungen sowohl im Tourismus- und Marketingbereich. Schon während ihrer Ausbildung entwickelte die Autorin ein besonderes Interesse an der Unternehmensführung, besonders in Verbindung mit der Orientierung an Werten und dem damit verbundenen Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken.
