Jede Werbung soll den Warenabsatz fordern. Hierzu bedient sich der Werbende unterschiedlicher Wertmethoden wie der Preis- und der Wertreklame, in der Form der Zugabe und des Geschenks. Vor allem die Zulassigkeit der Zugabe war in Frankreich immer sehr kontrovers. Gegner dieser Werbemethode bringen vor, dass der Werbende vom Prinzip des Leistungswettbewerbs abrucke. Im Vergleich zur Wertreklame ist die Preiswerbung, die als Werbefaktor die gunstige Preisstellung einer Ware einsetzt, weit weniger umstritten. Diese Arbeit steckt den Rahmen ab, in dem die einzelnen Formen der Wert- und Preisreklame in Frankreich derzeit zulassig ist. Schwerpunktmassig wird die zum Teil recht wechselvolle Entwicklung der Gesetzgebung auch im Hinblick auf das Verfahrensrecht und die Anwendung des Regelwerks in der Praxis dargestellt."
About the Author: Die Autorin: Beatrice Shenouda wurde 1960 in Kairo geboren. Sie studierte Rechtswissenschaften an der Freien Universitat Berlin und an der Westfalischen Wilhelms-Universitat Munster. Den juristischen Vorbereitungsdienst absolvierte sie im Land Berlin. Seit 1990 ist sie als Referentin im Referat Hochschulrecht des Bundesministeriums fur Bildung und Wissenschaft tatig."
