About the Book

The use of A form of PCP called WET which contains a huge amount of the embalming fluid called formaldehyde has become an epidemic across the United States especially in the city of Cleveland Ohio. This drug is highly addictive, known to cause hallucinations and physical as well as mental breakdowns. The abuser usually becomes extremely violent non responsive to familiar surroundings or people and very dangerous. Peter Gunn along with his two childhood friends Ricky and Bobby were the top dealers of the popular drug called Wet in the city of Cleveland. They were either respected, loved or feared by the entire city and no one dared to cross them. They were at the top of the food chain until a rival drug dealer named LMG shows up with a form of Wet that has a totally different effect and proves to be even more addictive. The newcomer is all set to take over the city but Peter Gunn is not going to relinquish his territory peacefully. Ronnie has been addicted to Wet for a number of years and had no intention of stopping. He was known to get high and terrorize his long time girlfriend India. A bad trip one afternoon causes him to chase India and his son into the arms of someone else. Someone that scares him straight. Now he is forced to abandon his addiction and face his fears in order to get his son back. Tee is just released from prison and reunited with his family. He is happy to finally start the long awaited journey of getting his life back on track. Upon visiting his brother Ronnie he realizes that this journey will be more challenging than he could have ever imagined. WET will take you into the hellacious world of drug addiction and the evil doors that it opens. Unusual relationships are formed. Lifelong friendships are destroyed and family bonds are literally devoured as the lives of these individuals are intertwined.
About the Author: Brian Bowman, a native of Detroit, Michigan now living in Columbus, Ohio, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration along with a MBA from Franklin University. He's also a graduate of John Casablanca Modeling and Talent Management. A devoted husband as well as a father of 4 and grandfather of 8, he works as a manager, head writer and CFO for BLACK JACK ENTERTAINMENT AGENCY LLC. which happens to be a company that he co-founded. His love for scary movies helped inspire him to create 3 horror novels. "MY BROTIIER'S KEEPER" is the title of the first book which was published in the spring of 2008. Mr. Bowman was blessed enough to publish his second novel "I LOVE YOU" through his own company in the spring of 2011. His third horror novel titled "WET" was published through his younger cousin's company Walter's Legacy Publishing. Brian Bowman has also managed a local artist, hosted several entertainment events, mentored young adults, and played an important role of the construction and publication of three completely positive community magazines. He also held a position as one of the host of an internet radio show called THE ORDER RADIO where local talent is interviewed and community issues are brought to light. Mr. Bowman found his love for acting by appearing in several local stage plays. This lead Mr. Bowman to trying his hand at screen acting and to write, co-directed and star in MY BROTHER'S KEEPER THE SERIES which is based off of the novel he wrote. The success of those projects is what lead him to write, produce and star in a feature length film called THE GAME DONE CHANGED which premiered to a sold out crowd at an AMC theater. Brian's ambition would lead him to act in a number of other motion pictures: Madtown, UFO, Church Gossip, St. Gabriel, Fast 8, Life & Death of John Gotti, Liberty Mean, Girl From Compton, First Kill and a huge principle role in Miles Ahead which was written and directed by Don Cheadle. He is currently working on other film projects and has a screenplay and TV pilot that's being shopped around. Brian Bowman's ultimate goal is to create a culture of positive adults that the youth can relate to and learn from. He lives by the slogan of, "Keep ya head up, stay strong and stay focused!"
