About the Book

"This story resonates with spirit and history, seamlessly blending myth with reality into a chilling and foreboding read." - Steve Berry, New York Times bestselling author (known e.g. from The Templar Legacy)

"White Lie reveals more shocking truths than any book since The Da Vinci Code, including the identity of the real Indiana Jones. It would not surprise if it was adapted for the big screen soon." - Andrew Gough - presenter of historical documentaries and Editor-in-Chief of the Heretic Magazine

"Congratulations on a fabulous read! I know Otto would have been proud." - Richard Stanley - Screenwriter, Filmmaker

"The Forbidden Relic is a historical mystery novel, reminding us of Dan Brown and his The Da Vinci Code. But what makes the book special, is the original and fascinating mix of historical mystery, true treasure hunt and science-fiction themes, such as time travel. And a superbe blend of facts and (adventure) fiction." - Patrick Bernauw - historical mystery writer

Synopsis
There are secret underground compounds where highly specialized scientists, physicists and professors develop secret technology for unknown employers. In 2011, Professor William Fairfax succeeded in creating a stable wormhole, through which people could travel back in time.

Unable to predict the miraculous events that were about to transpire, Dr Danielle Parker and Dr Gabby Standford excitedly travel back to the first century, where they discover the amazing story of Oshu, the real Jesus.

This incredible adventure back in time results in the terrifying abduction of time-traveller Danielle. For Danielle's freedom, the kidnapper demands one of the most intriguing historical artefacts known to the world. To find it, the team has to follow the old trail of the Knights Templar that leads them to Cathar Country in southern France.

The team is accompanied by a mysterious German relic hunter, whom had already been brought from the 1930s to the present: SS-Obersturmführer Otto Rahn. Though Rahn is assigned to assist the team in southern France, he carries with him a heavy, dark secret. In constant fear of being forced to return to 1939, he decides to follow his own agenda.

About the Author: Jeanne D'Août is a writer, historical researcher, tour guide and producer. For 40 years she has been researching the hidden history of mankind and its religious and cultural path. Ever since she was a child, she has enjoyed discovering hidden mysteries, while visiting many countries including Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Israel and Egypt. The biggest mystery, however, was discovered when she moved from the country of her birth (The Netherlands) to a region known as Occitania (southern France). As a tour guide she was able to explore the area and its many secrets to her heart's content and in 2008 she decided to start writing a thriller book to share her findings, resulting in her first book, "White Lie" (The Forbidden Relic). In 2012, Jeanne featured in the documentary "Himmler and the Holy Grail", which was broadcast around the world and she was a guest on several radio shows. In 2013 she worked with filmmaker Frank LaLoggia to write a synopsis for a possible screenplay based on "White Lie". Also in that year, Jeanne was one of the guests on a live TV talk show in Las Vegas. In 2014 she was interviewed by author and TV personality William Henry for his "Revelations" radio show while writing her second book, "The Eye of Ra". In March 2015 she was also a guest on Intrepid Radio, talking about both her books. In the Spring of 2015, Jeanne was interviewed by William Henry for Whitley Strieber's "Dreamland" radio show, which was aired on March 20th, 2015, and René Barnett's Night Vision Radio Show, which was aired on March 26th, 2015. In her second book, "The Eye of Ra", Jeanne takes her readers to ancient Egypt, on a quest to find an ancient relic from the time of Moses and Aaron. Again, adventure mixes with mysticism and hidden knowledge while exploring Egyptian Magic and the ancient Egyptian Mystery School teachings. "The Eye of Ra" was published in February 2015. After joining the ITW (International Thriller Writers Organization) in June 2015, Jeanne started writing the 3rd book of her Time Travel Trilogy, which is scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2019. Though all 3 books can be read separately in any order, this new adventure will take the reader on an even deeper journey to a more ancient time. "White Lie" has been released on eBook under a new title: "The Forbidden Relic", in March 2016. Shortly after, also "The Eye of Ra" was released on eBook.
