About the Book
The White Mountains Vacation & Relocation Guide is the first book in the White Mountains photobook series. Eight more titles are scheduled for release in 2017; each a collection of stunning photos of the unparalleled, widespread beauty of the White Mountains of Arizona. Large, gorgeous photos dominate the pages and will leave you spellbound; captions, articles, and maps provide history and interesting particulars. The photos are the artistic works of amateur and professional photographers intent upon capturing the beauty of this exceptional area. Locals Tony Attanasio, Judi Bassett, Julie Bosen, Danny Groebner, Monty Jackson, David Loomis, Lydia O'Reily, Christopher Paxman, Cyndie Shaffstall, Andrew Towle, and Hazel Wolfe, and Phoenix photographer Laird Brown, will captivate you with the common beauty of the Mogollon Rim-moments in time they have managed to seize. Cyndie Shaffstall, best-selling author of Willows: The Creole, has compiled White Mountains Vacation & Relocation Guide as the definitive go-to booklet for anyone considering a vacation or move to the White Mountains. The book begins with highlights of the many delightful outdoor activities visitors and residents relish as they commune with nature and enjoy the myriad uses of maintained forestland. For families on the move, the book closes with demographics about the surrounding communities, compiled from the 2010 U.S. Census. The author has also included material about the infrastructure of the area, such as options for transportation, schools, industry, employment, and health-care facilities. Though the text is informative, it is the photos that will leave you in wonder. The awe-inspiring works of these photographers-each with an eye for capturing the majestic beauty of the forests, wildlife, birds, and activities-have seized the richness and diversity of the White Mountains of Arizona. Come to the White Mountains-experience Arizona's four seasons. Full-color, 76 pages.
About the Author: Cyndie Shaffstall wrote her first novel in 2015, but the adventure was simply the latest twist in a rollercoaster ride of a career. Less than a year after her first, Cyndie finished the final entry in The Delegate series, which includes Seed Money: The Entrepreneur; Glyphs: The Scribe; Amazon Best Seller, Willows: The Creole; Chaos: The Oracle; and the final book in the series, Neune: The Delegate. In the early 90s, Cyndie started her professional writing career with QuarkXPress: Making the Most of Your Negative Experiences, followed by a dozen after-market computer manuals, but even that didn't keep her busy. She bought X-Ray Magazine and assumed the roles of editor, publisher, and contributing author-and with ink still left in her pen, in 2009, she revealed online marketing best practices in Small-business Guide to Winning at Web Marketing. As though fiction and business books aren't enough, Shaffstall is also a prolific author of marketing content in the form of eBooks, case studies, press releases, blog articles, and other online content for clients and for her companies, and has written numerous articles for online magazines such as Target Marketing Magazine, Book Business Insights, and others. Cyndie has enjoyed a successful career at the helm of more than a dozen companies, including Sassy Strapps for which she also holds the patent; software distributor, ThePowerXChange; international marketing company, Spider Trainers; and now, Infinite.Clothing, makers of a sustainable line of performance wear. She is also a founding partner and sits on the board of Hidden Star, a business incubator for underprivileged entrepreneurs, and is a board member of the Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce, and committee member to local tourism groups. Entrepreneur, inventor, public speaker, and author, Cyndie has presented to audiences across the globe on software, publishing, writing, and automated marketing for companies such as American Marketing Association, Act-On Software, Target Marketing Magazine, Data.com, Salesforce, WooCommerce, and many others. The White Mountains of Arizona series-a collection of nine books about the White Mountains of Arizona-signals her return to nonfiction writing.
