About the Author: Carole Comeau is a certified food nutritionist and certified raw food chef who graduated from the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in January 2014. She helps clients find a healthy, balanced diet for themselves and their families.
Comeau grew up in Silicon Valley, California. After gaining a BS in business management from San Jose State University, she began her career in high-tech sales and started a family, becoming a busy single mother of two boys in 1995.
Twelve years later, her doctor put her on blood pressure medication that caused her heart to slow and her feet to swell but didn't treat her chronic stomach pain. So she went to an alternative doctor, who tested her body's pH balance.
It was the beginning of her journey toward better health and nutrition. Now, she lives near Venice Beach in Los Angeles, enjoys an active lifestyle-and feels like a kid again!
