Wir zucken ja kaum mehr, wenn wir mehr und mehr Berichte darüber lesen, aber machen wir uns wirklich klar, wo das alles hinführt? Und noch viel wichtiger ist die Frage, wie wir überhaupt an diesen Punkt gekommen sind. Der Transhumanismus klopft nicht nur mehr leise an unsere Tür und noch immer gibt es keinen Aufschrei. Die griechischen Mythen sind voll von unerbittlichen Strafen gegen Menschen, die sich über die göttliche Weisheit erhoben haben. Das war das höchste Vergehen überhaupt! Nichts anderes tun wir seit Jahrhunderten und sind an einem Punkt angekommen, an dem wir uns im nächsten Schritt nur noch selbst zerstören können, wenn wir nicht endlich innehalten. Die größte Weisheit des Menschen besteht darin, die Hypothese einer kosmischen Ordnung zu akzeptieren und in dieser seinen Platz zu finden, anstatt sich darüber zu erheben. Wir müssen begreifen, dass das Menschsein Grenzen hat, die niemals durch irgendeine Art Technik dauerhaft durchbrochen werden können, dass Krankheit in einer polaren Welt zur Heilung des Menschen dazugehört - als eine gesunde Korrektur - individuell wie kollektiv - und diese Vorstellung des allmächtig gewordenen Menschen, Krankheit wie ein Unkraut auf dem Feld einfach ausrotten zu wollen, ist eine wahnsinnige Illusion, die das ganze Menschsein aufhebt. Der Gott des Christentums trägt uns nicht mehr, die Wissenschaft hat in den letzten Jahrhunderten diese Rolle übernommen und nicht nur jedes Maß verlassen, sie kann uns ebenfalls nicht tragen. Es wird Zeit für ein neues Gottesbild und das finden wir nicht allein im Außen, wir müssen dafür auch nach innen schauen. Wir haben die geistige Ebene der Welt und mit ihr unsere Seele weitgehend aus dem Alltag
