Stunde in die Einheit Welche Erfahrungen können wir beim Sprechen und Hören von lyrischen Texten machen? ein. Der Schwerpunkt der Unterrichtseinheit liegt auf dem Einfühlen in Gedichte. Die Handlungs- und Produktionsorientierung der Einheit bietet den SuS die Möglichkeit sich selbst auszuprobieren. Den SuS soll bewusst werden, dass aus der unterschiedlichen Betonung von Wörtern in Versen eine Bedeutungsveränderung resultierenden kann. Die SuS lernen, dass und warum es sinnvoll ist Pausen zu machen. Im Vordergrund steht dabei das Vortragen, denn "viele Gedichte kommen erst im Vortrag zur Wirkung" . Spinner fordert, dass das spielerische und experimentierende Vortragen von Gedichten besondere Berücksichtigung finden soll. Durch das eigene Experimentieren mit Sprechweisen werden die subjektiven Anteile des Verstehensprozesses betont, denn es gibt immer verschiedene Möglichkeiten der Realisierung. Dabei spielen "das erlebnishafte Aneignen von Sprache [...], das Ausprobieren von Betonungen, die Stimmmodulation und die Intonation von Gedichten" eine Rolle. Jedes Vortragen ist immer schon ein Akt der Textdeutung und meist sind mehrere Lösungen möglich, wenn es auch wahrscheinlichere und unwahrscheinlichere Lösungen gibt. Durch das Ausprobieren verschiedener Sprechweisen wird auch der Forderung der Bildungsstandards Rechnung getragen, dass die SuS am Ende der Jahrgangsstufe 6 vorbereitete Redebeiträge leisten können, indem sie "bekannte und kurze unbekannte Texte zügig und gestaltend vorlesen und vortragen" .
