Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Interkulturelle Pädagogik, Note: 1, Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt (Universität Klagenfurt), Veranstaltung: Affirmative Action Bildungsansätze im internationalen Vergleich, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Aus mehreren Gründen habe ich mich dafür entschieden, eine Stichprobe darüber durchzuführen, ob Rassismus bzw. Ausländerfeindlichkeit auch schon in Kleinkindern verankert ist: Einer der Gründe ist mit Sicherheit, dass es darüber nicht Massen an Literatur gibt, ich diese Frage jedoch als eine äußerst Spannende einstufe. Andererseits habe ich mich gefragt, wann in uns Menschen der Punkt kommt, bei dem uns die "Fremdheit" als bedrohlich erscheint. Diese Frage werde ich im Zuge dieser Seminararbeit zwar nicht klären können, dennoch aber möchte ich Eindrücke darüber verschaffen, wie Kleinkinder darüber denken und wie sie fühlen. Die persönliche Motivation, diese Thematik zu bearbeiten ist jene, dass ich zwei Söhne habe, und mein fünfjähriger Sohn einen farbigen Freund hat. Der Name seines Freundes ist Pablo: Sehr oft hat mein Sohn Dominik mit seinem Freund Pablo schon gespielt und noch nie wäre es mir aufgefallen, dass es ein Problem für die beiden wäre, dass sie eine andere Hautfarbe haben. Ja mehr noch: Wenngleich mein Sohn ein äußerst nachdenkliches und kluges Kind ist und auch dementsprechend viel fragt um sein Wissen zu erweitern, sind noch nie Gespräche über Pablo´ s Haut zu Stande gekommen. Aus diesem Grunde hat es mich natürlich sehr interessiert, wieso er nie danach fragt und welche Priorität er diesem Thema schenkt. Weil ich auch Dominik interviewt habe, wird im Gespräch mit ihm diese Wichtigkeit sehr deutlich. Natürlich war es in diesem Zusammenhang auch wichtig zu erfahren wie sein Gegenüber - nämlich Pablo selbst darüber denkt und welche Erfahrungen er schon gemacht hat.
