Die Doppelbelastung traf vor allem berufstatige Mutter. Sara Peschke ist eine davon. In ihrem Buch demontiert sie die Begeisterung furs Homeoffice als Selbstbetrug. Flexibilitat und Freiheit waren die großen Versprechen, doch bei vielen Menschen sind sie Dauerstress und Selbstausbeutung gewichen. Zuvor arbeitete sie u. a. fur den Spiegel und die NZZ. Ihr Artikel »Wie ich im Homeoffice verlernte, Pausen zu machen« traf zur Corona-Hochzeit bei vielen einen Nerv, sodass daraus ein Buch entstand. Mit ihrem Mann und ihren zwei Kindern lebt sie in Munchen.
