Martina finds her way back to herself when she discovers her ability to write. She kept diaries as a child and journals when she became an adult. After becoming an English major when she decided to go to college at the age of 42, Martina realized she had a talent to write in a way that made people listen and even become drawn in by her stories and poetry. Martina gathered her experiences when she realized she lost who she was while going through life.
About the Author: Martina Mitchell is a graduate of JAMESON School of Ministry and Theology in Bala Cynwyd, PA and was first licensed and ordained by JAMESON Evangelistic Assoc. in Drexal, PA. She is also a member of Jameson International Ministerial Fellowship, and Jameson Alumni Association. She attended Palmer Theological Seminary and she is currently a student of Eastern University as an English major with a concentration in creative writing and communication. Martina presently serves on a number of ministerial boards. She has received numerous awards and certificates for teaching and ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is certified and trained in Christian Marriage Counseling by Victorious Women Ministries, an affiliate of New Life Church of Christ Apostolic Faith Bible College. She served as the National Evangelist and Conference Coordinator for the Voice Of Thunder International Ministries, Inc. for 2 years. She has a Keepin' It Real Ministries, which is a diversified ministry; it includes (Y.C.C.) Youth Consecrated for Christ, Inc., founded and presided over in the Philadelphia & South Carolina areas. These ministries minister to people from all different backgrounds that have been hurt by the world and the church. Martina has volunteered at Phoenix II Drug and Alcohol Recovery as a counselor and bible study teacher. She has served as a volunteer of The Philadelphia Prison System under Father John Bonavitacola, Director of Chaplaincy Services. Martina served as the First Woman Minister in the 94 year history of the Morris Chapel Baptist Church under the direction of the late Rev. Boyd E. Rodgers. She has served, in the capacity of Administrative Assistant to the Pastor, Youth Pastor, Pulpit Coordinator, Psalmist, Worship Leader, and Director of Operation. She was the 1st Pastor of Temple Of Praise Word Church (T.O.P. Ministries, Inc.) located in Ridgeland, SC., under the leadership of Dr. Andrew Lloyd, Overseer and the Pastor of Love Covenant Word Church. She is currently an Associate Pastor of Kingdom Life Church Ministries, CEO and Community Liaison of InTouch with The Kingdom Outreach under the leadership of her pastor, Rev. Daniel E. Sutton, Sr. Above all, Martina Mitchell is an anointed vessel of God, who believes that the Word of God will break Chains no rehab can, began to. She believes it is her faith that moves God to do the impossible. And that if the people of God show up, God will surely blow up in their lives!
