About the Book

Every man is the architect of his fortune which implies that each person is the chief cause of their success or failure in life. George Boardman the younger said, "The law of the harvest is to reap more than you sow. Sow an act, and you reap a habit; sow a habit, and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny".
Many people search for ways to become a successful person in life, but the only way to achieve success is through hard work. One must focus on his goal and work hard to reach the stars. A person must try hard to become a successful person. He must learn not to accept defeat if he wants to build his fortune. Every man receives the result of his actions. It is said that fortune favors the brave in which the brave refers to the one who excels in his efforts with consistency without dwelling on his shortcomings. Those who work hard succeed and will be rewarded for their determination and efforts but those who sit idle will fail and will have to suffer for their idleness and laziness. Destiny does not make a man; a man himself shapes his destiny. Some people desire to be rich in life but to fulfill this wish also hard work and determination are necessary. If a poor person does not want to be rich, he will not be rich but he can be if he wants to be. If a man works wholeheartedly, investing all his time in his work and making the best use of his talent, he is 100% sure to succeed. Apart from this, only a fool can think that wealth, fame, power, and recognition will come to him by merely asking. Every man has the freedom to have a desire to raise high in life or to do lots of things or to have enormous wealth. But there are conditions for the fulfillment of human desires. Suppose a student wastes his time and energy on gossip, he would not be able to achieve a good result of his wishes. The fulfillment of a desire always depends on ones ability if one possesses the necessary qualities. Therefore it is rightly said, First deserve, then desire. Some people also think that it is quite hard to shape the future due to the inevitable fate. But there is no doubt that only a person can create his future. One of the main reasons for this saying is the attitude of the person to his life. We create our next day through our thoughts, behavior, and wishes.
In my view, every man is surely the architect of his future as it is their actions and attitudes that determine the outcomes of their future, whether they will be successful and famous or whether they will be prosperous. People shouldn't think negatively about their future.
To conclude, our life is complex and unpredictable. Often people think that no one can escape fate. But very few think a persons actions, thoughts, desires, and feelings create his future. Always remember that people are the creators of their future, so they must create it with enthusiasm. Strive always for excellence, then their creative potential will reveal itself.
