Tom Montgomery has enjoyed an amazing journey through life. There
were lawns mowed, newspapers delivered, soda jerk, auto mechanic,
grocery store stocker/bagger/butcher, roofer, typist, musician, minister,
church planter, insurance sales and management. Life's ultimate joy has
been found with family.
Looking back has produced many "ah ha" moments. Paul wrote that
God "makes everything work out according to his plan" (Ephesians 1:11).
The above mentioned skills served a purpose. As time passes history makes more sense.
Riding in police cars with officers (as a minister) has taught humility
and imparted a vision of life beyond career or pleasure. Opportunities
arise to listen to hurting hearts and convey God's message of comfort.
Several experiences are chronicled in this journal along with insight
that has come.
According to Tom, "I partner with those who read through this journal.
We have experienced joy along with trauma which produces thanksgiving and hope.
My goal is to place focus on our divine purpose."
