Nicht nur, daB auf der einen Seite das Phanomen der Zwangskrankheit in seiner ungemeinen Vielfalt sich abhebt, nicht nur, daB iiberraschenderweise die Zwangserkrankung mit zahlrei- chen sog. psychosomatischen Storungen verschrankt ist, sondem die Einmaligkeit und Unwiederholbarkeit letztlich des individuel- len Krankheitsbildes bestatigt die W orte Viktor von Gebsattels: "Der Mensch ist nicht feststellbar. " Der aus dieser Konzeption verfaBten Arbeit darf ein groBtmogli- cher Erfolg bei allen Kollegen gewiinscht werden, die an der Integration scheinbar heterogener Disziplinen mitwirken. Die Begegnung mit der Zwangskrankbeit, einer sehr selbstqulilerischen Form menschli- chen Leidens, bedeutete flir mich die Konfrontation mit einer Welt des "Andersartigen", die sowohl Befremden als auch Faszi- nation bei mir ausl6ste. Eine Mutter, die sich im Alltag und nach Einschatzung der FamilienangehOrigen riihrend urn ihre Kinder kUmmert, flihlt sich beispielsweise durch geheimgehaltene Zwangsgedanken in Form von T6tungsvorstellungen gegen ihre geliebten Kinder bis zur tiefsten Verzweiflung gequlilt. Die M6g- lichkeit, daB der Gedanke zur Tat werden k6nnte, laBt sie unauf- h6rlich zweifeln und sich die Schreckensvision einer "Kindsm6r- derin" vor Augen flihren. Ein anderer Zwangskranker flihrt bizarre und sinnentleerte Zwangsrituale durch, urn innere Un- ruhe, Unsicherheit, Angste oder Zweifel magisch zu bannen.
