Länder - Mittelalter, Frühe Neuzeit, Note: sehr gut, Universität Hamburg (Philosophie und Geschichte), Veranstaltung: Hus und Hussitismus, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Arbeit will nun also den Nutzen beleuchten, den eine Mystifizierung Luthers und ein "Vergessen" des Reformators Hus für die deutschen Gesellschaftsverhältnisse 2004 mit sich bringt. Die methodische Grundlage findet sich dafür bei Michel Foucault und seinem Macht- und Diskursbegriff. Die Verfasserin ist sich bewusst, dass selbiger Begriff bei Foucault einem Wandel und einer Veränderung unterliegt. Von der Macht der "seriösen Sprecher", also anerkannter "Koryphäen", bestehende und auch vorherrschende Diskurse zu verändern - bis hin zur "Universalmacht", durch welche jedes Individuum die Macht als selbst gewollt und als vernünftig akzeptiert, war es ein langer Gedankenweg. Zwischendrin hielt Foucault mehrmals an und entdeckte dabei einmal das Panoptikum als Gesellschaftsmodell. Hiernach wird jedes Individuum in den gesellschaftlichen Institutionen kontrolliert, indem es sich einer permanenten, nicht einsehbaren Kontrolle bewusst ist. Foucault beschränkt diese Kontrolle auf staatliche Autoritäten, auf Lehrerinnen, Polizistinnen, Ärztinnen. Das "Phänomen" der Selbstzensur, nach dem auch bei Deutschen Intellektuellen in Ost und West (Beispiel Serbienkrieg oder 17. Juni 1953) eine Kontrolle der Gedanken möglich wird, zeigt jedoch, dass das permanente Bewusstsein von Kontrolle auch über die Wert(vorstellungen) funktioniert. Der bestehende Diskurs über einen Wert wird zum Machtstabilisator. Die Kritik der Aufklärung durch Horkheimer und Adorno7 ist nur der Anfang eines Diskurswechsels im europäischen Wertekonsens. Und der Ursprung eben jener, sich nun verändernden, europäischen Aufklärungswerte wird posthum mit der Reformation Martin Luthers in Verbindung gebracht.
