Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Ingenieurwissenschaften - Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Note: 1,0, Technische Hochschule Rosenheim (Fachhochschule Rosenheim), Veranstaltung: Vortragsreihe an der FH Regensburg, sowie an der FH Rosenheim, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die architektonisch ansprechenden Eigenschaften einer transparenten Dachkonstruktion beziehen sich auf die Reflexion, Absorption und Transmission des Sonnenlichts, insbesondere im Bereich des sichtbaren Spektrums. Die meisten dieser freigeformten Dächer der letzten Jahre entstanden in enger Zusammenarbeit zwischen Architekt und Ingenieur. In mehreren Iterationsschritten wurde dabei die vom Architekten geschaffene Ursprungsform so lange angepasst, bis sich schließlich eine ästhetisch, wirtschaftlich und statisch optimierte Lösung ergab. Aus diesen Wechselbeziehungen zwischen Entwurf und Tragwerk, sowie zwischen Form, Material und Beanspruchung haben die letzten Entwicklungen hauptsächlich in der Glasherstellung und Glasbautechnik dazu beigetragen den Spielraum für die Gestaltung von Konstruktionen in der Architektur wesentlich zu erweitern. Die Formgebung / Formfindung der Dachstruktur ist durch den Einsatz von leistungsfähigen FE-Programmen (= Finite Elemente Programmen) nicht mehr als Kernpunkt der Planung einzustufen. Vielmehr orientieren sich die Planungsbüros heutzutage nach neuen Möglichkeiten Transparentbauten (v. A. Glas) durch signifikante Reduktion der lastabtragenden Sekundärstruktur zu planen. Diese Minimierung des Materialverbrauchs bei gleichzeitiger Maximierung der Transparenz lässt auch die Membrankonstruktion in den Vordergrund treten. Diese spezielle Mischung aus organischer Gestalt und künstlerischer Konstruktion hat einen ganz besonderen Reiz, den auch viele Künstler zu nutzen verstanden haben.
